افتَتَح اللهُ تعالى هذه السُّورةَ الكريمةَ مُقسِمًا بالسَّماءِ والطَّارِقِ الَّذي يَظهَرُ لَيلًا، ثمَّ قال تعالى: وما أعلَمَك -يا محمَّدُ- بالطَّارِقِ؟! هو النَّجْمُ المتوَقِّدُ النَّافِذُ؛ أُقسِمُ ما مِن إنسانٍ إلَّا وعليه ملائِكةٌ حَفَظةٌ.
