هو أحمد عبد المنعم بن صيام شيخ الأزهر في الفترة بين (1182هـ - 1190هـ / 1767 م - 1776م)، وكان عالما في الطب علاوة علي علوم الدين. ولد سنة (1101هـ= 1689م) بمدينة دمنهور، وإليها يرجع لقبه الدمنهوري.
