Hello everyone. I’m creating a discord server, and have set up a private category with a voice channel, that only a certain role can see. However when using other role, you can see the voice channel if somebody’s using it, and I wanted to hide it totally.
Please switch your voice chat channel when doing group activities to team chat. It is usually on fire team chat by default. To switch channels, hit tab then the right arrow key to switch over. The more people aware of this, the less lonely we will all feel when playing strikes, crucible, etc.
For music voice chats, you are not allowed to talk (in fact, permissions are disabled for you to speak). For generals voice chat, you can probably hop in. Spend a minute or two to listen to what people are speaking before contributing. Also, NEVER EVER join just to shout! It is equivalent as spamming a chat channel with tons of capital letters over and over.
