Is there a way to use Google lens to reverse image search my own images, or images in a Google drive/Google photos rather than web based? For example if I had pictures of a hundred different carpets and had them named and wanted to quickly take a picture of an installed carpet and cross reference to tell me the name of it.

On your computer, go to Google.com. Search for an image. Click an image. At the bottom, scroll to find the search results related to the image. To refine your search, add a keyword in the search bar.

No reverse results despite existing out there. I've downloaded a lot of fanart and gifs over the years and sometimes things go wonky so I want to re-download them which requires a reverse image search to find it again. Next to the image I get words like "girl" "cartoon" "action movie" and no results.

I'm trying to reverse image search on my desktop and whenever I try uploading the photo I'm looking for, google just redirects me to google lens. Is the google image search feature no longer available?

Why is google reverse image search not working on images of people? It just brings up items of clothing from that photo to purchase, not where the image is being used elsewhere, social media etc which is not good safety.
