Hello, Does anyone have experience with Nationwide online banking? I applied for a Nationwide Flex Account and was accepted 2 weeks ago. I have since received my card, pin and a "welcome to digital banking" letter that includes my customer number and pass number. With all this information, I cant figure out how to actually log in.
Hi all I notice when I log into my nationwide account that it is asking for information such as Nationality and asking for my household income and other personal information.
My partner and I have had Nationwide accounts for over 30 years including a mortgage, current account, savings and credit card. We've always used the banking app on our mobile phones and can see all our accounts regardless of who's name they are in. Last night my husband's app updated to the new version and he now cannot see any accounts that were in my name only and especially our credit card ...
Been a nationwide wide customer for over 15 years blue cant remember who long of that time I been with them, used them when I lived in uk moving money back and forth with other uk accounts, in 2013 I moved to Australia and again I used it often spending money in my nationwide account overseas as well as using most of it eventually and maybe for past few years had very minimal in it just enough ...
Nationwide updated their app again yesterday and it seems to have taken down most of their systems this morning. There has been problems with the app most of the morning. I was unable to view any of my current or savings accounts or make any payments. I eventually gave up and tried logging into the internet banking on my computer instead.

Confusingly, I have a card reader from Co-op bank, and it didn't work for the first time. But once I log in successfully with a Nationwide card reader for the first time, the Co-op bank card reader works too. If you don't want to wait, just go to Nationwide branch and ask for a card reader.

Just a reminder that Nationwide Building Society changed some of their savings product names on 1st February 2025 and, from today, single account numbers/references will be replaced with sort codes and account numbers on applicable products.
Been a loyal Nationwide customer for decades. But not using it much these days, as living abroad. But there is still a sizable 5 figure saving in there.
