Santander online banking is down this morning. There have been multiple reports on downdetector.co.uk and on the Santander X site. Santander say they are aware and are working on it but also that the app is working fine. I can concur with that having just logged into the app.
I don't have a mortgage with Santander, but would fill up the 6% saver and have all my bills coming out of my 123 Lite account at the moment. I'm not sure how to figure out which will be better. I'm not sure what I get cashback from currently or if there is more with the Edge.
Just opened my Santander banking app and got a message saying 'allow Santander to make and manage phone calls' and 'allow Santander to know the location of nearby devices' This is so they can protect you from spam phone calls using 'san protect' Has anybody else had this?
You might be able to transfer to another Santander account – take a look at our full range of current accounts. If you do transfer, you can keep your existing account details including the account number and debit card. You can close or switch your account without charge.
I received an email from Santander this afternoon to say my annual interest Account Summary (to 5th April 2024) was available to download. The summary was sent to my Santander online mailbox yesterday, 30th May 2024.
Can be useful to have at least one separate account or even keeping just 1 account with Santander incase other things come up or you want to budget or something. As a more general thing it probably isn't providing you have a better account elsewhere.

My mother has now got online banking with Santander and initially logged in with the temporary ID she received. I told her this would change to the 16-digit number on her debit card (like mine is) but apparently this is not the case. She recalls having to choose some login passwords or sequences but can't quite remember.
I have been trying to find out from Santander Customer Service and their dedicated ISA Team that if I trasfer-in 3 different Cash ISAs in full (above £10k each) into 3 different newly opened Santander Fixed Rate Cash ISA accounts, will I get 3 x £50 e-vouchers?
