MonkeyLearn offers access to machine learning models that analyze incoming text and make predictions. Models can be trained to analyze sentiment, emotion, urgency, topics, or to look for pieces of information inside texts such as keywords, entities, etc.
MonkeyLearn’s algorithms calculate how frequently a term occurs in a document divided by the total number of terms in the document. It then multiplies the term frequencies (TF) with Inverse Document Frequencies (IDF), a weight indicating how often a word is used across documents.
MonkeyLearn allows to create and train custom models for topic classification. It works by defining the custom list of labels and then providing a definition for each label (mapping keywords to a label or defining labeling functions).
