She made her buying decision based on the information Currys gave her. The cooker arrived and was installed - she then had access to the manual. (Which warned that the heat of the glass may cause risk to pets and small children). Mum was burnt before she even got to cook on the cooker -- the glass door gets really, really hot.

So I went to buy a condensing tumble dryer from Curry’s today on line, no option for free delivery, ranged for £35 down to £20 I kept scrolling and no free delivery, the tumble dryer was a 9kg Beko for £299, plus £20 delivery was the cheapest, so I went on EBay and saw a Hoover 9kg for £289 with Free delivery, guess what?
True but small claims isn't too much and I'll be paying the court fees for mum. Hopefully the judge will make the decision based on "suitability" if it's too dangerous for mum to use and she has never used it then the judge will hopefully get Currys to rectify the situation or give mum the money back and take back the unusable goods...

Went into currys yesterday as my fridge/freezer had died and i need another one urgently. There is one currently on offer for £210 which i was going to order and arrange for my hubby to pick up that afternoon as he has a large van. i was told that it was in stock but not in the shop and the only way i could get it was to pay £24 delivery.
Tons of "small" stuff reduced, maybe they are getting rid of Xmas lines. Mark Hill rechargeable hair clippers reduced from £30 to £7.50.
