The Met Office used to supply meteorological data for the BBC's forecasts until, iirc, 2 years ago - since then they've been getting info from MeteoGroup who will probably come to different conclusions than the Met.
Is there any point in looking at the BBC weather forecast instead of the Met Office? I understand that the BBC used to use the Met Office for it's forecasts, but a little while ago they made the (fairly controversial) decision to go with a different provider.

The met office used to be really good but now they sort-off fell off a bit. They aren't really accurate anymore, for example: they said on there Tuesday Morning report that it was going to be sunny today, but in reality it has been gloomy.. And plus recently, they have been constantly changing the forecast every few minutes.
The BBC used to use the Met Office to provide their forecasts, but each year they bumped up the price so the BBC went to another provider, I believe they use metogroup (a European Service) instead, but it'll likely go back when the Met Office stops taking the piss. Ik ben bijna klaar met studeren! Ik vroeg me af of jullie nog tips hebben over het aanschaffen van bijvoorbeeld software die ik na mijn studententijd nog nodig heb en nu goedkoper kan krijgen. Het enige waar ik zo snel aan kan denken is een licentie voor Adobe CC en Office. Helaas is office voor studenten gekoppeld aan onderwijsinstellingen en kan ik dat niet met studentenkorting aanschaffen.
