This salt flat is the source of the more than one million blocks used to build the Palacio. It is also the origin of every gram of salt that keeps it alive today; inspiring the art that decorates its walls, the invaluable community who works with us and the joint enthusiasm that makes it possible.
Inside the Palacio de Sal one can come across different sculptural pieces, also made of salt, which have been created by the artists and craftsmen of the community as well.
