E-Mail problems with 1&1? Never heard of it . I'd drop an e-mail to their support team and also check to see if you get the same problem from their WEBMAIL interface, SMTP problems at 1&1 have been hitting some of my accounts too recently. Sadly 1&1 e-mail remains managed by 1&1's own server even on their dedicated platforms.
However, one way of stretching the life out of v4s is by sharing each address between multiple users, which is not universally popular as it tends to raise security concerns (i.e. some services partly manage or block access at specific IP level) and may cause connectivity problems under certain circumstances (e.g. port forwarding can be “fun“).

I’m using 1.1.1.1 hardcoded into my router and have still had the issue. It’s been weird, some devices on wifi would’t work at all, versus some devices hardwired would work. Teams calls I could type comments but not receive them.
Where possible I always try to use a third party DNS service – Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) as my primary and Google (8.8.8.8) as my secondary although it can cause problems when connecting to public wifi hotspots.

Right so if I understand this correctly, I would need a 4G Router with a DSL/Phone port something like the TL-MR6500v, then configure the router to VoLTE from VoIP, plug in a SIM, then any phone I plug into it such as DECT will work fine.
