Când și cum se generează codul UIT? Poate fi generat cu maximum 3 zile înainte de începerea transportului. Pentru importuri sau achiziții intracomunitare , data de începere este momentul în care marfa intră în România printr-un punct de frontieră.
Procedura de obținere a codului UIT este reglementată prin Procedura din 2024 de utilizare şi funcţionare a sistemului naţional privind monitorizarea transporturilor de bunuri RO e-Transport, emisă de Agenția Națională de Administrare Fiscală.
De regula, transportatorilor nu le revine obligatia de declarare a transporturilor in aplicatia RO e-Transport, obtinerea codurilor UIT revenind in exclusivitate, in cazul dumneavoastra - furnizorului.
In Romania, businesses organizing transport of sensitive goods must adhere to specific transport notification requirements enforced by the Emergency Ordinance 41/2022. With this document the RO e-Transport platform was established, and through it a code known as the UIT number is issued.
As a measure against corruption, the Romanian Government has introduced a requirement for a UIT number on all consignments to/from Romania as of 1 January 2024. After the end of the start-up phase, this will now be enforced effective from 1 July 2024 with possible fines if the rules are not complied with.
From 1 July 2024, all groups of goods must be reported to the e-Transport system, registered with a UIT (Unic International Transport) number and marked with it during transport to Romania. Without UIT we will not be able to deliver your shipments.

METRANS will need the unique UIT / ITU (identification transport) code from the ordering party back in order to provide it to the carrier. Without a valid UIT / ITU code it is not possible to arrange the truck transport.
It has become mandatory to declare in advance the data related to road transport of high fiscal risk goods, depending on the type of operation, to the beneficiary or, as the case may be, the supplier in Romania so they can be identified by the UIT code.
