When going to Apps > Search and Reporting > Dashboards > Dashboard's name, there may be some parts of the dashboard showing the "No data!" warning as shown below: This is caused by some null values that the fields of the search may contain. This is a known issue that has its respective workaround.
Just replace earliest=-1mon with whatever time range will guarantee to return results for each of your host / event combinations. If your indexes aren't too big, you can use earliest=0 as an equivalent to the All Time option.
All you need to do is to add the appendpipe clause to the end of the search like this - where "NOUSER" is assumed not to exist, so without the appendpipe, will return no results found. index=_audit user=NOUSER | appendpipe [ | stats count | where count=0 ]

Currently, I am hiding panels when no search results are displayed for the dashboard. So, my dashboard shows as blank when no data is been returned. I would like to display a user friendly message to the user saying "No data found" when all the panels in my dashboard returns no results.
Yes you can use progress and condition to display or not display panels in the event of results or no results returned. Here is an example of a neat way to show a panel if there is a results or show a dummy panel that reads from an inputlookup so as not to have a panel showing N/A
My Search query returns a value when it finds some result whereas when it doesn't find any matching events it returns as "No Results Found". Now, I would like to display as "0" instead of "No Results Found" and return the values if it gets any events as before.
Hello, I am trying to determine why my table on Dashboard Studio is showing "No Data" but it shows on Dashboard Classic. I referenced the report in the code and I am using a token for data input. Whenever I open in search, it pulls up all the data I need, but just does not show in the Dashboard.
A dashboard suddenly doesn't return nothing. I opened the search tool and it does not return nothing again. But, if I push the button to run the search again, it does return the expected data.
