I still have Waterfox Classic for browsing old website/forum and for nostalgic purpose. The complete theme is incredible (I'm still using FT Deepdark) and some wonderful XUL addons (Beyond Australis, Firegestures, NoScript etc).
Hi, I just recently learned about Librewolf and Waterfox, and I am trying to make an informed decision here on which browser is better suited for me. I haven't come across any recent in depth comparisons of the two to allow very particular users like myself to analyze and make a decision based off.
From what I have seen and interacted with, most of the people either use Hardened Firefox, Librewolf, or Waterfox. Some recommend them, others don't so I decided to ask you if I should switch and if so to what browser.
Waterfox vs Floorp vs Librewolf I have been using Firefox for a while. But I'm looking for a faster browser that is also open source and based on Firefox. I arrived at these results and I'm mainly between Waterfox and Floorp, but I haven't ruled out Librewolf. Has anyone used it and can help me reach a decision?
So I switched to Waterfox not too long ago because quite frankly, I just had no idea what browser to use at this point. Chrome is garbage, Opera pretty much turned into Chrome with a different color, Firefox was too slow and Palemoon was also getting too slow and most websites don't work that well on it anymore. So, I remember using Waterfox a long time ago when it was using 64 bit back in a time when Firefox didn't have that and was still using 32 Bit. Although, my only concern about Waterfox is that it's now owned by System1, an adverting company, unless it's not really as bad as it seems but I'm just curious. Archived post.

When I first installed Waterfox a few months back, I was able to import browser data from Firefox during the installation process. Now I can't, and, when I go to "Import Data from Another Browser," it only lists Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer.
