August 1, 2025, Press Release from the Black Swamp Area Council: FINDLAY, Ohio – The Black Swamp Area Council’s 26th Annual Scouting Golf Classic was a resounding success, raising over $90,000 to support local Scouting programs across Northwest and West Central Ohio.
Welcome to The 25th Annual Black Swamp Golf Classic! Two fun, amazing days of golf and live auctions. Over the last 25 years, The Black Swamp Golf Classic has raised over $3 million to support kids and their families in Hancock and Putnam County.

The Black Swamp Classic supports the Braden Kramer Foundation, the Findlay Family YMCA, and the Putnam County YMCA. The 24th Annual Black Swamp Classic is a 4-person scramble held at the Findlay Country Club Golf Course in Findlay, Ohio.
All proceeds from the outing stay 100% local, directly benefiting over 3,000 youth and adult volunteers served by the Black Swamp Area Council. SAVE THE DATE. The 27th Annual Scouting Golf Classic is already scheduled for Thursday, May 21, 2026, once again at the Findlay Country Club.
