yeah, 123Movies got taken down but there are still some good alternatives out there like Putlocker, SolarMovie, and FMovies. just be careful of pop-ups and ads. Reply reply TruffleYT
Yeah it’s really weird, I had the extension all set up, and today it kept not working and saying it wasn’t updated (I updated everything, uninstalled it, reinstalled it, even tried on a different browser and downloading the extension fresh and it said it was out of date) and going default just says it can’t verify and I tried later today and now apparently the server isn’t responding ...
Honestly, that site was the best. I've used many versions of 123movies and when I found that one I fell in love. Funny enough, it used to be called HDONLINE.[insert domain] a site which I loved. I'm pretty sure because bI always had it bookmarked and then one day *BOOM* it became another 123Movies lol. The best one out there.

Well, the official "123Movies" was shutdown back in 2018, so anything you're finding today is just a "clone" site at best or a spam-suppository of viruses more likely. tl;dr - they're free because the stream isn't the product. You (the user) are the product, and you're being sold to third-party advertisers and data-thieves.
lot's of good movie sites to stream online without downloading. The best ones are always free sites IMO. Lookup vumoo, or 123movies. But then you may want to try get tv shows too so there are even more places for that. I've been watching movies on my HDTV plugged into my PC browser on a HDMI cable.
