Personally I think you should open yourself up to Samplette, because it is AMAZING for finding records (and genres) which you have never listened to or heard about. Music is about expanding what you already know, and I think it is a bit delusional to think that your library cannot use new songs to discover and sample.

I’ve recently been using samplette.io to find samples. You put in ur filters (genre, year, view count, etc.) and the site just shuffles through music on YouTube within the parameters you choose Reply reply
One of the best ones is samplette.io as you can search for songs based on genre, BPM, what key it's in etc. Then you can combine samples that are in similar keys. Sample the radio, or next time you're watching a movie or TV show, run your SP through it and capture samples of dialogue or theme music you like.

Agree to disagree. Op asked for places to find samples for boom bap beats, I have him a good place to find some (samplette) It's not only how you chop and manipulate the sample, unless you do it untill it's unrecognizable. If you listen to a song on Reasonable Doubt, you can tell the producers sampled jazz and shit, which a certain vibe.
This is a tool I've been working on to help all the e-diggers looking for samples. It will randomly find a YouTube video from a catalogue of tens of thousands of vinyl rips, etc. and start playing at a random time.
