Certainly not unique to Microsoft, ARM chips are in a lot of computers these days. So I was shocked to discover that Insta360 Studio will not run on ARM!!! What?!?! So, all my Insta 360 gear is immediately redundant unless someone can tell me how I work round this extraordinary Insta360 failing. More importantly, Insta - what are you doing ...
I would like to know if you guys have any tips on how to add the GPS overlay with the Insta360 Studio.
📒 We recommend that you install Insta360 Studio in advance before editing 360° footage from your Insta360 camera. 💻 When using an Insta360 camera s uch as an X3, it will ma ke two video files that end in "insv" and a preview file that ends in "lrv". The "insv" files are the original, separate videos from the two camera lenses.
If the Insta360 Studio reframe options are enough for you that will be the faster option. Reframe there and then export and do the rest in Premiere. The Premiere Pro reframe plugin is more powerful but Premiere's 360 video editing/playback performance is much slower, requiring proxy files to make it bearable.
Insta360 Studio launches fine; it's on the latest update (and this issue has been happening for the past ~4 months in prior versions). While editing, the interface will become slower and slower to respond, so even trying to close the application via the upper right X will take some time. It keeps crashing when opening/playing the any insv footages. I also disable all CUDA and hardware encoder/decoder... but issue still persist. What's worse is the above message keeps shows up every time I open Insta360 studio even though I already disabled CUDA.

I am editing in the timeline of 360 Studio on my Macbook and there is a point where I don't want about 5 seconds of the video to appear. How do i delete a section without having to trim the whole clip?

I continue to research how to best use my one x2, now looking at the desktop studio export settings I am trying to figure out the "best" export settings? Most settings work independently leaving guesswork for the user. Turning it to prores turns off the option on bitrate (assumed high). How about encoding format? 264 , 265 or prores ?
