De Eden test / Military Brace test is een orthopedische test om te beoordelen of er sprake is van TOS door compressie van de plexus brachialis
A positive test is indicated by an absence or decrease in vigor of the pulse and implies possible costoclavicular syndrome. It is also positive if the client experiences an increase of neurologic symptoms into the upper extremity on that side.

Eden’s test is designed to assess for costoclavicular syndrome, another one of the four forms of thoracic outlet syndrome. Costoclavicular syndrome is a neurovascular entrapment syndrome caused by a decrease of the costoclavicular space between the first rib (“cost” means rib) and clavicle.
