We are very fortunate to have Breakfast, After-School and Holiday Club wrap-around care provision at Air Balloon. ‘Space Cadets’ is housed in it’s own building, with direct access, through the Space Cadets gate, where staff have created a warm friendly environment, catering for all ages.
Air Balloon Hill Primary School is a friendly, nurturing and welcoming school. The school has created an atmosphere where ‘everyone can achieve, everyone can learn and everyone belongs’. Pupils feel safe in school and learn how to stay safe online. They feel confident to share any worries with trusted adults in school.
We are a four form entry school which means we can welcome up to 120 children into Reception every September. Our current Year 6 cohort are organised into three classes instead of four.
In Year 1, children will learn about the history of Air Balloon and how the school and locality has changed since the Victorian period. They look at both Victorian Britain and Britain in the 20 th Century.

Thank you for helping to make Air Balloon a great school – you will be much missed by your friends and teachers. We held our Year 6 graduation today as we saying farewell to our oldest children before they leave us for good and start secondary school.
If you need to collect any pre-ordered uniform before school starts, you can collect it from the school office on Tuesday 2nd September between 11 and 12. Any uniform not collected will be sent to the class.
