r/MTGGoldfish: we horsrt your borst. Been listening to MTGGoldfish podcast for about a year now and have listened too and watched all their episodes on Spotify and YouTube multiple times and am interested in this question so thought I'd post it here.

mtggoldfish Sorry for the confusion. There's a box under the large text area that autocompletes, so if you type in Lord of Atlantis, it will popup with all the options and you can select the right version and "Add a Card" .
Mtggoldfish is only good for its visual representation, its data is indeed known to be flawed. Mtgdecks.net is said to be the one that gathers the most data. Another source I use is the following, that only gathers results from big events over 6 weeks (or less when there is a banlist/set release):
Does anybody know how exactly MTGGoldfish track the price movement? Sometimes I see the card prices go up but I couldn’t verify it, and when I checked TCGPlayer it’s just like one or two listings. The ones that have consistent purchases didn't move much in the charts especially when it comes to latest releases such as LCI.
Mtggoldfish tends to have old decks stick around for a while after bans & new sets. The historic metagame is very turbulent right now but probably the best look at it would be the Hooglandia Open that happened this past weekend. Sultai lands took it down, RB Aggro had a really strong showing, and there's plenty else to check out there.

I like Seth and MTGGoldfish more when they aren’t trying to be “trendy”. Recently, a lot of their videos have a very “I need to pump up the metrics with wacky titles and 5 second intros” thing that, while I guess must work since they’ve kept doing it, but that really takes me out of a video.
