I want to plug in my Sandisk USB flash drive but the pc doesnt recognize it. The USB connection chime plays, but the file explorer, device managment and disk managment doesn't recognize it. I've plugged it in to all my usb ports but it just doesnt work. It worked 2 days ago.

This Z drive that Windows 10 update creates appears and disappears over time. I feel you will need to get a tech in to have a look and get your shared drive back. I would as a precaution get the Tech to choose another letter for this shared drive, so this does not happen again in the future . . .
