The smaller the circle, the more certain the app is about your location. If the blue dot isn’t visible or is gray, Maps can’t find your current location. Instead, Maps shows the last location you visited. Tip: If there’s something between you and cell towers, like a parking garage or tall buildings, your blue dot might not be accurate.
On your computer, open Google Maps.; On the map, right-click the place or area. A pop-up window appears. At the top, you can find your latitude and longitude in decimal format.

To search for a place on Google Maps, enter the latitude and longitude GPS coordinates. You can also find the coordinates of the places you previously found.
Location groups: Individually select location groups to be used in the campaign or ad group. Up to 20 location groups can be selected. Note if the location groups selected become empty, then they function the same as if you had chosen “No location assets”, instead.
If settings like Web and App Activity are on but you turn off Location History or delete location data from Location History, your Google Account may still save location data as part of your use of other Google sites, apps, and services. This activity can include info about your location from your device’s general area and IP address.
The estimated general area comes from the location sources described in this article. If you grant location permissions to google.com or Google apps on your device, then when you search, your precise location will be used by Google to show you the best search results. Precise location means exactly where you are, such as a particular address.
Local results appear for people who search for businesses and places near their location. They're shown in various places across Maps and Search. For example, if you search for "Italian restaurant" from your mobile device, you can get local results. Google shows you nearby restaurants that you’d want to visit.
You can move locations you've saved in Google Earth to a different computer. Saved locations are called placemarks, and they're automatically saved to your computer.
