You can use Stardew.infoto try out different sprinkler layouts depending on your farm type. You can toggle the sprinkler area on/off using the drop down menu top left. It will show you the watering zone. Standard sprinklers just hit four squares (up, down, left, right). Quality sprinklers hit 8 squares (every square touching the sprinkler).

sprinklers turn on from 6:00-6:30am i think, they’ll water every morning if the tiles around it are tilled or not but to water crops u obviously need to plant the crops within the sprinklers aoe but they won’t water the day u plant bc they already watered that morning
