I have redeemed this code from Microsoft rewards which grants me 3 months free for Spotify Premium, however whenever I try to redeem the code, it says that I am uneligible for the plan, but I have never tried premium before nor have I been included in an family plan. My order history is empty and has no previous subscriptions or payments for Spotify Premium.
Premium account, get Spotify generated ad insertions with completely irrelevant ads (I live Europe, and get ads for US only products and companies), and the strangest thing is that i only seem to get them when i'm playing the podcasts on my car's native app. On the phone or desktop, it never seems to happen. If this is not a bug, it's a really bad move to do to a paying customer.

Account on Spotify free? This means there's no Premium plan to cancel, and there’s no payment info on the account. If you're being charged, you likely have Premium on a different account.
