Create QR CODE with this text : myApp://extraString and read it with any qr code reader. Or even you can integrate your own qr code reader using Zxing's open source. In my case, I used tunnel and there was a problem with the sdk version - I have 39.0.0 and I should use only 36, 37 or 38 - that is the message that i have got from expo, so all I did is to get into the app.json file, and add the following line in expo (or just change it if it already exist):

If u scan the generated qr code, add contact comes automatically. I was under the impression that i needed to program the scan and add contact from my end. I was successful on doing that but i ended up doing a lot of unnecessary things.
