The Cowdray Ruins Visitor Centre has undergone refurbishment works which have been supported by funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and the newly configured Centre will enable the Trust to host events such as workshops, activities for younger visitors and talks.
The magnificent Cowdray Heritage Ruins are set in the stunning landscape of Cowdray Park. The Cowdray Heritage Ruins are one of England’s most important early Tudor houses and Cowdray is known to have been visited by both King Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth I.
Overlooking the Polo Grounds and Cowdray Ruins and located opposite Cowdray Golf Club, ideal for those who wish to tee-off at sunrise or catch some polo during the summer months. Sleeps up to 16 guests.
Cowdray has a wide range of locations for filming and stills. From the magnificent Cowdray House, with its stunning gardens, to a disused Quarry and Limeworks. Cowdray Heritage offers picturesque ruins, a vaulted wine cellar and a Tudor kitchen.

The Visitor Centre opened its doors in mid-October and there have been a flurry of events including Charcoal and Pastels at Cowdray Ruins, Autumn Fun at the Cowdray Visitor Centre and the Strange and Mysterious Tales of Cowdray.
Cowdray embraces this special time of year with a celebration of Autumn including Apple Day and Run the Seasons. There has also been a Wedding Showcase, the first in a series of Evening Dining events, and art workshops and tours at Cowdray Ruins.
