I created a user account and successfully joined the Mumble server. However, if i try to connect using the SuperUser username with correct password, i get "Wrong certificate or password for registered user. If you are certain this user is protected by a password please retry. Otherwise abort and check your certificate and username."
There’s no reason to choose one over the other, the main difference is this was rebuilt of the ideas of mumble-voip. It supports Radio, Phone & 3d audio and also doesn’t have the issue where players would constantly go global (so far from testing, which was the main reason this came to fruition in the first place).

On Thursday, I was able to use Mumble with no problems. On Saturday, for some reason, Mumble crashes everytime I try to launch it. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling a dozen times, even tried an older version. I have also tried restarting my computer. Tried clearing my computer of anything related to Mumble. Nothing worked.
However, I am curious what linking the game to Mumble actually does- does this allow the game to use the Mumble functionality itself (for example, having the ability to press X button in my game to mute myself using Mumble's mute functionality) or does it accomplish something more similar to a plugin to where you can enable the overlay?

On first launch, Mumble will ask you to either import, auto-generate or manually generate a certificate for use with Mumble. When you register your user with a Mumble server, the hash of the certificate is stored in the server's database. Once it's stored there, Mumble will effectively use the hash of your certificate as your user's password.
There should be a command to specify a new superuser password. Check the start script for Murmur to find out what to use for -ini, then do:
