Select (Start) > Settings > Accessibility > Captions. In Caption style , expand the menu, select one of the predefined options, and see how it appears in the preview. To customize the selected predefined option, select Edit and then modify the option details to your liking.
Turn captions on and off. To use live captions in a meeting, go to your meeting controls at the top of the screen and select More actions > Language and speech > Show live captions. To stop using live captions, go to your meeting controls and select More actions > Language and speech > Hide live captions. Change the spoken language
When you turn on live captions, this functionality is off by default. To check your device’s microphone configuration, see Settings > System > Sound and review the Input options.
Turn the feature on or off while presenting. If you're in the middle of giving a presentation and want to turn the feature on or off, click the Toggle Subtitles button from Slide Show View or Presenter View, on the toolbar below the main slide: In Slide Show View: In Presenter View:
You can choose to hide your name in live captions, live transcription, and the saved transcription that's available after the meeting. Do this before the meeting where you want to speak anonymously. Select More options > Settings in Teams.
Anyone viewing a video that has caption / transcript files can turn captions on or off by clicking the CC button in the player controls near the bottom-right side of the video. And then selecting the available caption language.
To turn on closed captions: When the video is playing, right-click or tap and hold anywhere on the video. A menu bar appears at the bottom of the screen. If closed captioning is available, the CC icon is displayed. Tap or select the CC icon. Tap or select the language you want to see closed captions in. Closed captioning appears on your screen.
Turn off live captions. When you turn off live captions, you no longer see captions in any of your selected channels. In Walkie Talkie, go to … in the upper-right corner, and then tap Live captions. Tap Turn off live captions.
Turn captions on and off. For persons who are deaf or hard-of-hearing, live captions allow to see what others are saying. To start and stop using live captions in a meeting, go to your meeting controls and select More options > Turn on live captions or Turn off live captions. Change your background during a meeting
Producers can control their own live captions and subtitles for the event from Settings. To turn your own live captions and subtitles on and off, select My live captions . To enable or disable attendee live captions and subtitles, select Attendee live captions .
