When it comes to our Universe, the Big Bang theory is the most accepted scientific theory in regards to explaining the origin of everything.
A lot of questions surround the concept of the Big Bang, one of which is where did the Big Bang occur? This complex theory offers an insight into the possible origins of our universe which we will look at more closely in this article.
The Big Bang theory states that the early universe was a hot place that expanded, and began to cool down. This means that the universe should be filled with radiation which is actually the relic/leftovers of the Big Bang event.

This theory is named the Big Freeze. Another popular scenario suggests that our Universe will stop expanding, and will actually reverse this process. When this happens, the Universe will re-collapse, and it will possibly lead to a reformation that will start with another Big Bang. This scenario is called the Big Crunch.
Formation Modern cosmological models of the early universe are based on the Big Bang theory. Around 300.000 years after the Big Bag, it is theorized that atoms of hydrogen and helium began to form. This event is called recombination. At the time, most hydrogen atoms were neutral – non-ionized – and readily absorbed light.
No matter how you look at it, nothing should be older than our Universe, except perhaps something which occurred before the Big Bang. We don’t actually know what was before the Big Bang, but whatever it was, we might, at least in theory, consider it slightly older than our Universe.
