Car Parking at the University. There are five car parks on campus with a mixture of permit and public parking. Blue Badge Holders can park free of charge. Each car park has a letter, corresponding to its position on the campus map (see link on the right). - Aquatics / Booth Street East (Car Park B) - Booth Street West (Car Park D)

Staff parking. University staff are eligible to apply for permits for car parks B, D, E or F (Aquatics, Booth Street West, Cecil Street and Dilworth Street). Please note not all car parks are available immediately. Staff permits are offered as a pay as you go (PAYG) permit, which charges an hourly rate dependent upon your Grade.
If you are a staff member inviting a visitor (or visitors) to the University for a meeting, lecture or other event, you can organise parking for them by making arrangements with the Car Parks Office in advance.
For further details or to make an application, please contact the permit office on carparking@manchester.ac.uk. Please note that all permit fees for monthly permits are payable in person at the Permit Office, using a credit or debit card. Fees are payable in advance (minimum is 1 month’s parking).

Public Parking Rates. Locations. Public parking is available at Booth Street West multistorey (D), and Cecil Street (E) car parks. The rates are:
Contractors' employees (including management and sub-contractors) arriving by car must park on one of the University's car parks and pay the applicable fee, or find alternative parking off campus. Contractors' vans shall be permitted onto site following prior agreement with the Car Parking office and shall park in designated areas.
Cecil Street (car park E) Four bays – bp pulse; User Guidelines. They are available to all users of the car park (staff, public and other) on a first come, first served basis. Credit can be topped up at the Permit Office or at the pay machines in car parks B (Aquatics - Level 7 only), D (Booth Street West), and G (Dover Street). How can I add credit? You can add credit to your card in multiples of £5.00.
