Just got a Pixel 6 Pro, Android 12. Whenever I save a web page using the 3-dot menu, download web page arrow, the file is being saved with no extension. It has always been saved as .mhtml on previous phones. I have to rename them to add the .mhtml extension. I tried Chrome and Chrome Beta. I looked at the files with two different file managers.
I tried to connect Whatsapp on chrome. But when I go to https://web.whatsapp.com, QR code doesn't load. Rather it shows a continuously moving circle. What might be the reason for this?
Whatsapp shows your device being connected to the Internet with your Whatsapp account signed in. If you left your device on the kitchen table while leaving for a tour, that does not matter to the app/service.
Recently, anytime I share a link from YouTube in WhatsApp, the message sent will only contain a link. This also happens if I use WhatsApp Web. I'm ok with not being able to play directly in WhatsApp, but how could I get a preview with at least a title pointing that the message is a video and showing its title?
I don't know how sophisticated is their checking, but if it's just checking which app installed WhatsApp, you can force the OS to think it's the Play Store app, even if the Play Store app isn't installed.
