Edit by using the tool palettes for RAW movies. Tool palettes for RAW movies are essentially the same as the main tool palettes (), except for the Settings tool palette. For details, see the tool palette instructions. Also note the following differences.

If you prefer to keep images in the current orientation, select [Select and copy recipe settings] in the [Edit] menu and clear the checkmark from [Rotate left / Rotate right: 0°] in the next window.
Edit the image as needed. Clicking [Set Adjustment Area] displays a circular cursor. As you click or drag on the edited image to correct it with the circular cursor, the same portion of the source image is copied to it. Use [Radius] to set the size of the adjustment area and [Blur radius] to set blurring at the adjustment area boundary.
Note. By default, images are saved after conversion to JPEGs with the highest image quality. Different versions of DPP may produce slightly different processing and editing results from the same RAW image.
You can undo all image adjustments made on tool palettes and restore images to the state when they were last saved, or when the image was captured.
