The problem I run into isn’t actually the libero but when you have three at the back formations is that the 2 tend to stay too wide and you get runners up the midddle. I’ve found that 4-1 formations with a holding mid and double inverted FB/WB works better. Also finding a Libero that isn’t a defensive liability in the air is really hard.
