My mums recipe had an ox tongue cooked & minced with the corn beef, a small bottle of tomato sauce & a small bottle of Worcester sauce. I can't find the recipe at the moment. I would suggest trying the sauces to your taste. hers definitely didn't have onion in it I have also made it without the tongue &added tomato relish, Worcester sauce, & tomato sauce to taste.
