Unlike ominous trial spawners, ominous vaults don't replace normal vaults when a player with the Trial Omen effect is nearby. A player can unlock an ominous vault using an ominous trial key.

The spawners that we did first have little bogged in them that are just vibrating. I really want to do an ominous trial but i think my chamber is bugged out.
However, vaults (unlocked from the keys that you find in chests or upon defeating mob waves from trial spawners) are non-renewable, so once you unlock all of those in a trial chamber, you've finished with it.
Optional ominous command argument, if set to true, will only affect ominous vaults. Defaults to false if not included. The plugin can be configured to automatically reset all vaults that are in currently loaded chunks, or ones that the plugin detects have been previously used.
By default, a normal vault takes 1 hour to restock, and an ominous vault takes 5 hours. (For reference, a trial spawner takes 30 minutes) Setting the reset time to -1 means the vault will never reset. Advanced information about customizing gamerules here.
Each vault keeps track of up to 128 unique players that have opened it. If the list of players is full and another opens the vault, the new player is added to the end of the list while the first known player is forgotten and becomes able to open the vault again.
Mining an ominous vault with any items will drop nothing, even if mined with Silk Touch, this makes ominous vault unobtainable in Survival without glitches. Ominous vault takes a long time to be mined, and will take the same amount of time regardless of the items used to mine.
When an active trial spawner becomes ominous, it despawns its current mobs and resets its total mobs spawned counter. [more information needed] The inactive trial spawner becomes ominous, is skipped if it was not previously ominous before going on cooldown, then becomes ominous.
