Hello together, I want to use the new integrated SOME/IP Dissector in Wireshark. If I go to the Wireshark Settings for the SOME/IP Protocol I have plenty of possibilities to dissect my payload. Setting up my UDP Ports, SOME/IP Services and SOME/IP Methods is not a problem and already working. But I am stuck with payload dissection.

grahamb 23850 4 989 227 https://www.wireshark.org IMHO the best way is definitely to capture the information from the wifi router. Depending on the router, this information may not be freely available from the manufacturers firmware and installing a replacement firmware such as OpenWRT will allow the capture of the required information.

Is it possible, that your capture environment delivered the same packets twice? If you have indeed captured the same packet twice Wireshark will mark this as a retransmission. I suggest that you go through Jaspers excellent network capture playbook. If your trace file does not contain sensitive data you might be able to share it via cloudshark.
The server respond to this Keepalive packet (Wireshark marks as DUP ACK) At this point in time, the client sends a RST, ACK with the SEQ # of 2. above (i.e 138 bytes ahead of what server is expecting) The server sends another ACK packet which is the same as 4. above.
I have used Wireshark for may Ethernet based projects, so I am familiar with it in that space. However, I would like to capture, parse, and display packets received on a serial port, which are formatted in a proprietary protocol. Can Wireshark be configured to do this? Thanks.
