To Turn On or Off Bluetooth in Airplane Mode Settings 1 Open Settings , and click/tap on the Network & Internet icon. 2 Click/tap on Airplane mode on the left side, and turn on or off Bluetooth on the right side.
Here is how you do that. Launch Settings > Bluetooth and devices then click on Add device. Click on Bluetooth . I can have Bluetooth and wireless again. I still don't have the Bluetooth device discovery mode that allows for default or advanced but my Bluetooth is working again and I was able to sync my Bluetooth devices like before. Thank you for being so helpful, it was good to have another pair of eyes on the issue.
If your Bluetooth device cannot be enabled or is missing from Settings, it is possible that your drivers are misconfigured. To resolve this issue: Right-click the Start menu, and select Device Manager. Expand Bluetooth. Right-click on Bluetooth Radio and select Update Driver Software… Select Search automatically for updated driver software
Try turning off Fast Startup at Settings > System > Power & Sleep > Additional Power Settings > Choose what Power buttons do > Change settings that are unavailable > uncheck Fast Startup. If this is a mic or headset right click Volume icon in System Tray to Open Sound Settings, make sure the correct device is selected for input or output in the dropdown menu.
Thanks a lot for the reply. I did try to reset the Settings app, and the command was executed successfully. But still the issue remain unsolved. Upon opening the Settings App, when I click on 'Bluetooth & devices' setting, the entire windows closes.
