Microsoft has added the ‘Popular Now’ section to its Bing search engine. The feature is designed to let you see daily news trends by glancing at the homepage. Each day, Bing’s editorial team monitors trends and topics and updates them on the Bing homepage. The 'Popular Now' suggestions are based on top searches and are editorially selected.
For me, the problem is not turning News and Interests off, it's making the command persist. For example, I turn off News and Interests, but when I exit Bing, the command reverts instead of persisting so that the next time I open Bing, the aggravating News and Interests appears. The other commands on personalize persist, but this one does not.
