If you are part of a Needs Based Assistance Program in Indiana (Food Stamps, Medicaid, SSD, SSI, WIC, Section 8 Housing) you may be eligible for a reduced spay/neuter fee of just $20 through the Spay Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) of Spay-Neuter Services of Indiana (SNSI).

A statewide network of veterinarians graciously discount their services for our clients, and SNSI pays the remaining cost. Since their inception in 1977, SNSI has helped spay/neuter more than 130,000 pets in Indiana.
SNAP is a 4-step process. Please make sure to do all the steps in order to complete the process. If you receive any of the below-listed benefits or fall below the income requirements listed in the table, you qualify for a SNAP certificate.
Upon successful completion of the SNSI Instructor Evaluation Program you will be certified as an SNSI Open Water Instructor which qualifies you to teach the following SNSI Courses: – SNSI Open Water Diver; – SNSI Scuba Diver; – SNSI Dry Suit Diver.
Pet Friendly Services of Indiana provides statewide financial assistance. We raise funds and partner with a great group of veterinarians, who perform the surgeries. We provide low-cost spay/neuter certificates to limited-income pet owners and discount coupons to rescue groups and shelters.
