I have stayed at lots of the standard Premier Inn's and also the Hub hotels in London. The breakfast service is different in both, the Hub hotels have a simpler scaled back version of the breakfast whereas the standard hotels have a full breakfast service with full cooked options as well as continental lighter options.
I have not done the Premier Plus room, but I do like the value of Premier Inn. I looked at this hotel online and for the random days that I picked in September, I noticed the price difference per night was 50 pounds. I don't think that rooms are necessarily larger than the regular rooms from the pictures, but they do have the mini-fridge. Is a mini-fridge/ fancier furniture worth 50 pounds per ...
We stayed in the Premier Inn Paddington Basin a couple of times last June. Spotless. Decent steak restaurant/bar with happy hour. Within walking distance to the train station and the Tube station--300 yards. Good mid line hotel chain. From this specific property, you can be sitting in Heathrow Airport in 45 minutes.
I have stayed in Premier Inns and like their value for the $$$. However, I will be in London in September and need to know if they have a locked or monitored room for left luggage if you are checking in or out and need to leave your luggage for a while.
Would like to get an update from those of you who have stayed recently in any Premier Inn in London. I'm looking at the Holborn and Paddington Basin ones specifically. Traveling in June with my two teenage grandsons. Thanks much!

Premier Inn is good value for money. I'm not keen on that area. Westminster Bridge is overrun with street vendors selling tourist tat, dodgy characters selling caramelised nuts and those even shadier folks and their cohorts running the shell game for the more gullible visitor.
No guest laundry facilities at Premier Inns. They are a basic but extremely clean, comfortable and friendly chain of hotels. Build in a rest day halfway through your holiday when you either stay in a town with a laundrette - or stay at the same hotel for, say, three nights - long enough to wash out some tops & knickers and dry them over the bath.
