Case ID: 07404674 I've done what I usually do when upgrading Veeam, which is to download and install the latest Windows Updates, restart the server, ensure Veeam Backup & Replication and Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager are fully started, and then mount the downloaded Veeam ISO for the upgrade and run the installer.

Was able to get this resolved by downloading a newer version of the Azure Plugin For Veeam. Updating to 12.7.0.222 allowed the snapshot to be taken. Link was sent as a fix by veeam support.
veeam.com DownloadThis update is available for backup appliances that are managed by Veeam Backup & Replication only. Open the backup console UI and initiate the upgrade procedure from there. If you are not running Veeam Backup & Replication, download it from Veeam website and integrate this appliance with a backup server.
If you are running v12.1 then you can just update to the latest version of .NET 6.0 and reboot your server. All of our integration plugins on Veeam Backup & Replication v12.1 do support .NET 6.0 and later. We will also update our installation ISO if there are new security related .NET 6.0 updates.

I just patched my 11a server from 11.0.1.1261 P20220302 to 11.0.1.1261 P20230227. When I started up Veeam afterwards, I was greeted by the "Components Update" dialog which wanted to update the "Mount Server" component.

Since Veeam B&R is 12.1 + , I wanted to install with installer VeeamBackup&Replication_12.1.2.172_20240516 I am logged in with .\administrator, german Server 2019 standard Server is NOT part of a domain
