Compared to fitting tool, the biggest difference is that our UI should be a bit more responsive and show more details for certain elements (like depth charge damage distribution). The main elements of our tool are also optimized for mobile which is not the case with fitting tool. Other differences to both tools include mostly UI and UX.

Erkul is great for upgrading your ship. Can pick the most damaging weapons, fastest qt, and all the best parts for your ship and it will tell you where to get them and how much it’s gonna cost you. Can plan your part pickups accordingly or experiment with different load outs. As for mining routes and prices google has done me well lol

However if you want to get the best ship/multi-tool its actually stupid easy. Ignore CORE stats and look for a ship with a perfect Supercharged layout. The Supercharged bonus of a 4 slot adjacent cube layout will annihilate a perfect CORE ship or tool with a lesser layout.

The ship seed dictates model parts (engine, body, cockpit, wings), texture type (regular paint, metallic), decals types, colors for the body parts and decals, and ship maneuverability (and maybe something else that HG keeps to themselves).
