The circular background behind an icon indicates that there is a tap action. The "Downstairs" and "Upstairs" climate entities have a badge and a feature that is bottom-aligned.
Learn how to use Code Inspector. Then it will be much easier to sort things out. As I said, my solution worked before. As you suggested I changed .tile to ha-card, but it didn’t help and I can also see, that they are called ha-card, but I found the .tile here on the Forum as a suggestion and it worked (till now).
Tile cards are to my opinion a very good improvement of default cards, allowing an easy and quick definition of dashboard, while having a nice and simple look. And most important for all users, a User Interface capability to modify the look and functionalities to keep it simple.
It seems that the media control card is taking its colour from the “primary-colour” instead of the ha-card-background. I altered this in the theme and it’s like the other cards.
I have a bunch of vertical stack cards on my dashboard – lights grouped by room – and I would like each vertical stack group to have a slightly different background colour, to separate them visually.
While this is working well, the background color of the tile will always be the default one… and It would be required to implement this into the Card-Mod, too. Therefore, I would like to have a more simple way to edit the color schema of a tile based on conditions.
The option highlight color defaults to the parent card color (usually the tile card color), but can be changed by setting the CSS attribute --color to a different value, either for the entire feature or an individual option.

I look forward to the day when I can use a theme to control the appearance of the tile card like you can with the mushroom custom cards, without all that messing around with card-mod.
