Eli is the founder and CEO of XConnect. He has led the strategic direction of the company since 2005 when it launched its Interconnection and Number Registry services, through to the Number Information Services the company provides today.

Before founding XConnect, Eli was Managing Director of Telco Global from its inception in 1996 to 2003. He was instrumental in driving the telecoms, Internet and mobile services provider’s rapid growth to one million customers and £250 million in annual revenue.
I recently had the chance to discuss this notion and much more with Eli Katz, CEO and founder of XConnect, and co- founder and Chair the UK’s IP communications industry body, the Internet Telephony Service Providers’ Association (ITSPA).
He worked with industry leaders worldwide to design, develop and implement the XConnect vision, launching its flagship solution, Federation Service, and securing £13.5m in private equity funding.
