What is the SFVS? The Schools Financial Value Standard (SFVS) is a requirement for all maintained schools (including pupil referral units), who must submit it to their local authority (LA) every year.
What is the School Financial Value Standard (SFVS)? The School Financial Value Standard (SFVS) is a framework established by the Department for Education in the UK to measure and assess the financial performance of schools.
Several sessions covering the new SFVS were provided in 2019/20 to ensure all schools were adequately briefed. For most schools at least 1 governor and a member of staff responsible for SFVS attended as recommended.
