Both YTS and EZTV have been long gone. However, a group basically popped up taking the names of both and more or less replicated their services/uploads. There was some drama about this new YTS group giving account info on their site to feds, leading to 1337x banning them. They still got good uploads though IMO.
YTS package a 60 GB as a 10 GB movie and do a splendid job of it. One unavoidable fact is the YTS movie has 50 GB less data in it than the original which must mean lower quality which cannot be disputed.
A lot people doesn't trust the New YTS because they are dead . it doesn't mean like that , although this new Yts team is fake from EZTV although they are p2p groups uploading Tv series and They managed yify , although I've been downloading yify since the original shut down because I don't have any big storage to store movies I have 256 GB only , a huge changes from Yts for years like the audio ...
May na-detect kasi diyan dati na "CP", which is againts the law.So instead of manually blocking all those "CP" contents, ang ginawa nila, they've just blocked the whole site(s).
YTS is the smallest file size which is still acceptable. Also I made it so my mom can add movies to her IMDB watchlist, and radar will auto download them. My mom wants to download tons of terrible hallmark type movies, and she’ll request like 10-20 movies a month. I set all her movies to try and download from YTS first to save space.
Unfortunately YTS only started to use 5.1 in 1080p recently, so older releases use stereo AAC at 128 kbps, which even then are better than the old YIFY rips. So I hope this information is somewhat useful and certain people understand that YTS is an actually acceptable choice for what they offer if people want to consume these rips.

That being said, some time ago YTS people switched from 2.0 to 5.1 audio. Not sure if that was the only change. However, since then YTS releases are almost identical to RARBG releases in terms of size and quality. I prefer RARBG due to better retention and included subtitles.
It’s most noticeable in dark scenes and fast paced action scenes. It’s especially noticeable in dark action scenes. With that said YTS versions are still perfectly watchable and if it was the only option available or if I was severely space limited or bandwidth limited it would be fine. I just prefer the best available option.
At this point, it’s unclear if the YTS.mx domain will become available again in the future. According to the YTS status page it’s still the official domain but that may change in the near future. - Torrentfreak.
