I have to say that I have defeated all bishops and witnesses at least twice now and only have one eye left to give to plimbo BUT frustratingly enough (this even happened today) I have defeated the silk cradle witness twice now (going all the way through not jumping through the statue portal) and I have been denied the eye each time.

I can't seem to get the last eye of witness. The Plimbo questline is already completed, it says that I have handed in the final eye, but I only handed in 3 of them, so I haven't recieved the final fragment from him so I can't get the last fleeces.
Giving Plimbo an Eye of the Witness in Smuggler's Sanctuary. (4 fragment) Sacrificing a follower to Midas in Midas. (4 fragment) Doing deals with The Fox who appears in each of the areas mentioned above. (4 fragment) Plus in post game :

there's a total of 8 eyes to get, 4 in the main game and 4 in post game. getting an eye involves doing a crusade in which the witness of that area has not been defeated yet. you can find out which areas have a witness eye available by looking at the door and see if a small pair of eye statues are present on the sides. in post game, these glow purple
