We ordered items from Asda, via Just-Eat. The first delivery was marked as delivered. It wasn't delivered to us. All address details are 100% correct. Our house is not hard to find, the number can clearly be seen from the main road. We tried to contact Just Eat but there was no live chat available at the time. We had to wait until they got back ...
Just Eat charges every food item of the shop, at least £1.75 more than the prices you pay at the shop! Isn't this the most disgusting thing that a delivery company can do? So, the poor customer orders like a couple of burger meals and they end up paying £5-6 more for the delivery!
Attempts to Resolve the Issue: I contacted Just Eat customer support and was offered a partial refund of £21.37, which does not come close to covering the cost of the missing and inedible items. Despite providing clear evidence and explanations, my requests for a full refund of £85.46 have been repeatedly denied.
Pursue the just eat/restaurant for the food arriving 1 hr late and thus in total it took 2 hours to arrive. Therefore I think it was poor service by the restaurant. The value of the food was £11.50 (not much I know) and to me a partial refund sounds fair.
It isn't really Just Eat's fault that you were too tired to go back to the restaurant (or phone them). They just pass order and money between the customer and the takeaway. It seems slightly odd that you still haven't contacted the restaurant to complain. They may be able to resolve this for you.
On a separate note to the original complaint, but if £53 is a lot of money to you then you should really consider not using Just Eat. You will be paying £53 for around £35-40 worth of food which would obviously be cheaper if you went yourself, or even if you used the supermarket's own delivery service would still be £10-15 cheaper than the cost of ordering it via Just Eat.
Hi I ordered food via the just eat app Saturday evening to the value of £27.48, the estimated delivery time kept moving further and further and the food was eventually delivered approx 1 hr after it was originally expected.
Just eat are refusing to refund me saying it is the takeaways responsibility. The takeaway are simply flat refusing to even answer the phone to me. I have reported just eat to trading standards as in my view they failed to provide what I paid them for and I'm hoping by the posting here someone can advise me of what to try next and I also hope people see this and avoid just eat.

Hi there, I ordered a takeaway from McDonald's via Just Eat on Friday. When the app alerted me it had been delivered, I opened my door to find one small bag, nowhere near large enough for my whole order, sitting on my doormat with no delivery man in sight (this is common practice, I live in a block of flats).
