Hi. I frequently find the BBC iPlayer app will not load properly through Sky Stream. I click on it and can usually sign in then I often get a blank screen rather than the menu or the program I am trying to watch loading. Sometimes I can't get as far as logging in. BBC iPlayer has a habit of stopping in the middle of a programme and switching off. This happens randomly, sometimes after an hour, sometimes a little longer. Any ideas?
When in BBC IPlayer half way through streaming a programme screen goes black. If I do nothing it stays black. Only way to fix is to put skyq to standby then switch back on, and then reload IPlayer Hi @Jdg2304 Try a Reset Settings in the Q box hidden menu. Since installation of sky internet I have been unable to get iPlayer, and other tv icons on humax box with free view. Netflix works fine.
Hi, Iplayer app on the LG TV works fine, thanks. It also works fine on the Puck if the programme I wish to watch has already been shown or chosen from the Iplayer search engine/ menus.
BBC iPlayer app streams are more compressed than the live channel streams which come via a different route. How does the iPlayer app output via the puck compare to the iPlayer app output via your LG OLED? Are they similar? On your Sky+ box go to the Catchup section and the BBC menu can be found on the left on the next screen.

The BBC doesn't provide a UHD download option on Sky. Depending on which version of Sky Q box you have you may be able to watch UHD by using the iPlayer app instead of the download option, but only the latest (3rd generation) boxes support iPlayer UHD.
